Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Start your 5-day adventure with a scenic drive from Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop at breathtaking viewpoints and Berber villages along the way. Visit the iconic UNESCO Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and wander through its historic structures. Continue to Ouarzazate for a short tour of the film studios area if time allows. Drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses before reaching the dramatic Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and lush palm groves. Overnight in a charming hotel with stunning valley views and enjoy a traditional dinner. (Approx. 6-7 hours driving)

Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert (First Night)
After breakfast, explore more of the Dades Gorge with its impressive canyons and Berber architecture. Proceed to the spectacular Todra Gorge for a relaxing walk amid the towering cliffs and crystal-clear river. Enjoy the contrast between the arid mountains and lush oasis. Continue your journey eastward to Merzouga. Arrive in time for a sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Day 3: Merzouga Desert Exploration (Full Day in Sahara)
Wake up to a spectacular desert sunrise over the dunes. Spend the full day immersing yourself in Sahara life. Optional activities include sandboarding, quad biking, visiting a nomadic Berber family, or exploring nearby villages like Khamlia known for Gnawa music. Take another camel ride or 4×4 excursion deeper into the dunes. Relax at the camp, enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere, and have plenty of time for photography and stargazing. Dinner and second night at the desert camp with enhanced entertainment. This extra day allows you to truly unwind and connect with the desert environment.

Day 4: Merzouga → Rissani → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate Area
After sunrise and breakfast, depart the dunes and visit the historic town of Rissani, once an important caravan stop on the old salt route. Explore its famous market and ancient ksar. Drive through the vast Draa Valley, the longest palm oasis in Morocco, stopping at scenic points and traditional villages. Overnight in a comfortable riad or hotel near Ouarzazate or in the valley, giving you time to reflect on your desert experience. (Approx. 6-7 hours driving)

Day 5: Ouarzazate → High Atlas → Marrakech
